WHY WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION

We generally process your information for legitimate reasons, this includes when preventing risk and fraud, answering questions or providing other types of support, helping merchants find and use apps through our app store, providing and improving our products and service, providing reporting and analytics, testing out features or additional services and assisting with marketing, advertising, or other communications.

We believe you should be able to access and control your personal information no matter where you live. Depending on how you use Store Bounty, you may have the right to request access to, correct, amend, delete, port to another service provider, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information (for example, direct marketing). We will not charge you more or provide you with a different level of service if you exercise any of these rights. If you buy something from a Store Bounty - powered store and wish to exercise these rights over information about your purchase, you need to directly contact the merchant you interacted with. We are only a processor on their behalf, and cannot decide how to process their information. We will help our merchants to fulfill these requests by giving them the tools to do so and by answering their questions.

OUR COOKIE POLICY

HOW STORE BOUNTY HANDLES YOUR DATA

Merchants should help Customers understand how the Merchant, Store Bounty and relevant third parties collect and process Customers’ Personal Data. To that end, Merchants must: post an accurate privacy policy on their storefront that complies with all applicable laws and regulations; process Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and, to the extent required under such laws, provide notice to and obtain informed consent from Customers for the use and access of their Personal Data by Store Bounty and other third parties; and if the Merchant is collecting any Sensitive Personal Data from Customers, obtain affirmative, explicit, and informed consent and allow such Customers to revoke their consent to the use and access of Sensitive Personal Data at any time.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

When a Merchant sign up for Store Bounty, uses the platform, or otherwise provides information, Store Bounty may collect and control information such as business information, contact information, payment information, such as credit or debit card number/bank account number, your browser and device information, Security Information and copies of your government issued means of identification.

INFORMATION USAGE

We use this information as a Controller to provide Merchants with our services, confirm identities, provide support such as debugging, troubleshooting, and automated decision making such as the detection of fraudulent account creation when signing up for our service, for advertising and marketing, invoicing, to resolve incidents related to the use of our Website and services, to improve and personalize our services, such as push notifications regarding your store activities, and to comply with legal requirements. We may disclose certain information, including Account Information, Contact Information, Support Information and Transaction Information, to Partners subject to confidentiality obligations that refer Merchants to us or are engaged by a Merchant to provide services, apps or products relating to the Merchant’s store(s) or use of our Website and services, or to confirm identities and improve and personalize our interactions and services. We may use this information in other cases where the Merchant has given express consent.

YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR INFORMATION

You should be able to control your personal information no matter where you live. You can access and correct a lot of your personal information directly through the Store Bounty admin. Because we need your personal information to provide Store Bounty services, we generally keep your personal information while you use Store Bounty as a Merchant. If you close your store, you stop paying your subscription fees, or we terminate your account, we retain store information for two years before we begin the personal information purge process. We don’t do this immediately in case you reactivate your account or if there is a legal complaint or audit relating to your business. If you contact us to request deletion of your store’s information, we will begin the personal information purge process after 90 days, except if we are legally required to retain specific information. If you participate in Store Bounty’s partner program (for example by being a staff, advertiser, affiliate, app developer/business developer for merchants) we collect and use your personal data to provide you with the use of our platform and its services and generally help your work with the merchants.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

As a Partner on the Store Bounty network, we may collect and control information such as Business information, Device/Browser information, Contact Information, Payment Information, and copies of your government-issued means of identification.

INFORMATION USAGE

We use this information as a Controller to provide Partners with our services, confirm identities, provide support, for advertising and marketing, invoicing, resolve incidents related to the use of our Website and services, to improve and personalize our services, prevent fraud or illegal activities and to comply with legal requirements. We may use this information in other cases where you have given express consent.

YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR INFORMATION

You should be able to control your personal information no matter where you live. You can access and correct a lot of your personal information directly through the Store Bounty admin. As a partner, your details remain in the program until you tell us otherwise. You can send a request if you will like your personal information to be deleted if you are no longer a partner.

MERCHANTS THAT USE YOUR SERVICES

Partners provide a range of critical services to our merchants. When merchants sign up to use your services (for example, when they install an app you have developed), we will provide you with their personal information on the merchant’s instructions. When we do this, we are acting on behalf of our merchants. It is your responsibility to protect our merchant’s personal information and process it safely and securely in accordance with applicable law and any other terms governing other Store Bounty services. You are required to provide merchants with a clear and transparent privacy policy to help them understand your privacy practices, and how you use the personal information they provide you. If you develop an app that you would like to list on Store Bounty’s App Store, that app will also require a privacy policy.

HOW STORE BOUNTY HANDLES YOUR DATA

Store Bounty provides software used by our merchants to run their businesses. We collect information when you visit or make a purchase from a merchant’s Store Bounty store.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

When Customers interact with a Merchant’s product offering through the Store Bounty’s platform, we may collect and process Browser Information and Transaction Information of the Customer on behalf of the Merchant.

INFORMATION USAGE

We use this information as a Processor to provide our services to Merchants, support and process orders, and manage risk and fraud.

YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR INFORMATION

The Merchant is the Controller of your personal information when you make a purchase from a Merchant’s store. Store Bounty does not decide how long your information is retainer because this is a decision made by the Merchant. Store Bounty cannot help you access, correct or erase you information without being directed by the Merchant. Customers who request their personal information or have questions about the use should contact the Merchant.

Additionally, please review our overall privacy policy that applies to everyone whose information Store Bounty processes.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

Store Bounty collects the following personal information about you when you use one of our apps: Your contact information, payment information, browser and device information, and information about purchases you have made through other platforms, which you choose to connect through the app.

INFORMATION USAGE

To provide and improve the app, to identify specific orders you have made, so that we can display those orders and related information (e.g., a list of stores you have made purchases from and to personalize your experience using our apps and services) to determine if you are eligible for specific offers or payment method and to comply with legal requirements or respond to court orders or other similar government demands. We do NOT use this information to provide you with marketing or advertising from other stores or services.

YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR INFORMATION

We believe that you should have the right to access and control your own personal information no matter where you live. We generally retain your personal information until you stop using the app in question and inform us that you would like your personal information to be deleted.
